Silas enden nicht wo Dhamma beginnt

Attma denkt, dass es hier sicherlich genügend Beispiele gibt, wo man für einen höheren Zweck bzw. für als real ersehnte wünsche das Übertreten von Silas sieht und denoch denke ich, das man nicht oft genug aufzeigen kann, dass es grundsätzlich keinerlei Fusshalt für ungleiches anwägen oder denken in Form von ich habe ein innewohnendes Recht innerhalb der Lehren Buddhas gibt.

Attma freut sich stets mit, wenn man hier viel großzügiger und mit mehr freude teilt und andere daran teilhaben lämt, als es unter modernen Menschen üblich ist und dennoch nehmen die Westlichen Denkmuster sehr schnell zu.
Da gibt es eine Webseite eines Laien (unter den top 10 der meist besuchten webseiten gereit!), auf der gesamte Korb und dessen übersetzung in die Landessprache zum herunterladen zur verfügung steht. Die letzten Tage hatte ich ausführliche Konversation mit der Einzelperson, die hier sehr viel großzügige Arbeit leistet, beginnend mit der Frage, ob man sein Dhammadana teilen darf. Dies wurde ohne zu zögern freudig von Ihm gegeben und darüber hinaus auch noch das Angebot alle seine mehr als tausend gescannten Bücher weiter zu teilen. Nicht mal ein wunsch nach einem Link oder einer Erwähnung.
Die Mönche, die hier Internet zum erstehen von Lehren nutzen, immer stets warnend, dass nicht alles was so aussieht, als wäre es gegeben, erlaubte sich Attma nachzufragen, wo der Tipotaka her stammt, und ob das mit Zustimmung des Autors und der Sangha erstellt wurde und versuchte zu vermeiden zu direkt zu sein. Nach vier mal ausweichen kam das westliche Muster hoch "ich bin der ansicht, dass es so und so sein sollte und Buddha hat für alle gelehrt..." hoch.
Kurz danach folgten dann, ohne auf die eigentlichen Fragen einfach einzugehen, Argumente wie "normalerweise freuen sich die Mönche nur und sehen da kein Problem..."

Zwei Tage zuvor, hatte mir ein Novize Kerzen geschenkt. Normalerweise frage ich gerade bei nahestehenden nach, wo das herkommt, da es wirklich nicht sicher ist, dass sie auf gute Wege zu Besitz gekommen sind, den Sie dann auch teilen können. Dieser Junge Mann und talentierte Mönch hat eine Tendenz sich dort und da alles zusammenzubetteln und ist, wenn auch noch sehr jung, nicht sehr bescheiden und so freute ich mich, dass es etwas teilte, anstelle wie sonst etwas zu erbitten und vergaß das Nachfragen. Ein paar Minuten später, fragte ein anderer älterer Mönch, der den Sack mit Kerzen sah, aus dem er geteilt hatte, wo er die Kerzen het habe und es stellte sich heraus, dass es gespendete Opferkerzen aus dem Vihara waren...
Es war nicht leicht ihm das zu erklären, und selbst nach einem Tag gab er es noch immer nicht zurück, weil er sich nicht eingestehen wollte, dass es etwas unrechtes aus vielleicht Unwissen getan hatte. Am Abend des Folgetages zündete er alle Kerzen auf dem Weg zum Vihara an. Die anderen Novizen kamen aufgeregt angerannt "er verbrennt die Kerzen einfach so, schau Großvater...". Ich sagte nur: "Vielleicht will er etwas gutes tun.." und ging nicht weiter darauf ein. Am nöchsten morgen, fragte ich den jungen Mönch, ob er die Kerzen schon zurückgegeben hat und sich entschuldigt hat, antwortete freudig, dass er sie in der Nacht dem Buddha geopfert hat, aber nicht im Vihara, sondern davor. Darauf zeigte ich ihm, dass dies erfreulich sei und fragte ihn jefich weiter: "Ehrwurdiger Mönch, ist es möglich etwas zu opfern, das einem nicht gehört, nicht gegeben wurde?" "Nein." Jetzt hatte er verstanden.

Die meisten Leute reagieren mehr als missmutig, zornig oder verärgert, wenn man Dinge anspricht, die vielleicht nicht zu sauber sind, und eigentlich sehr wohlwollend angesprochen werden. Man könnte es ja auch unter den Titel, was geht mich das an, stellen.
Kinder sind da meist noch anders, weil sie noch kein so bewusstes Persönlichkeitsbild haben und sich zumeist freuen, lernen zu können. Bei erwachsenen, speziell wenn sie sehr überzeugt von ihren Handlungen und Persönlichkeit sind, ist es anders. Sie hätten da etwas zu vetlieren, was sie etwas mehr in Richtung sama ditthi bringen würde und sehen einem unverzüglich als Feind. Manchmal wirkt soetwas aber Jahrzehnte Später dennoch zu einem Guten.
