2023 Dec 10 06:57:44

* Johann:  wohl noch nicht genug der dicken Lippe riskiert... so mag es nützlich sein.

Two days ago I had to think on Ven. Dhammanando, the "founder" of DW, for another time: "When will he get aware of it, that fondling ones defilement are not subdue by exhibiting then and even make them to a virtue. When will he see, that fondling cats is as improper as if the Dalai Lama fondling childs."

So today I entered another time DW and it seems like a wonder, that he got another change, a change to increase problems or to increase the community of defilement fondlers.

Quote from: Sarath W. on DW
Bhante how do you handle this problem?
I understand you look after many homeless cats.

I am not sure if it was Ajahn Fuang who ones draw the simile between cats and defilement. Once you stop to feed them, they will cry and even scratch you while purring around you. If you work through it for seven days, they are gone.

As if there are some interest in regard of higher virtue in this case, you may participate on "Sharing alms with lay people and others ".

So may Ven. Bhante get aware of it or come across the hooks in it. Fondling ones kilesas, its not fare to start sharing and approving lists of useful products to kill the enemies of the kilesas off... of course such lists are designed to prevent and save your cats...

Quote from: not so much Venerable in case, the Ven. Dhammanando
I'm afraid there's no solution at present. If one is going to keep cats then one just has to bite the bullet and accept the necessity of compromising either on ahiṃsā or on one's pets' health. Even the product you've been using up to now isn't fully ahiṃsā-compatible: Lufenuron may not kill the adult fleas but it does kill their larvae.

It's not a hard bullet to bite into sila, as long one has not developed a good amount of faith for his own way and it's not a bite into a bullet, to sacrifice others for the sake of ones desires, even the desire for becoming and being of one self!

Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammā-sambuddhassa

...As he was sitting there, Ven. Sariputta said to him, "I trust, Dhanañjani, that you are heedful?"

"From where would we get any heedfulness, master? — when parents are to be supported, wife & children are to be supported, slaves & workers are to be supported, friend-&-companion duties are to be done for friends & companions, kinsmen-&-relative duties for kinsmen & relatives, guest duties for guests, departed-ancestor duties for departed ancestors, devata duties for devatas, king duties for the king, and this body also has to be refreshed & nourished."

"What do you think Dhanañjani? There is the case where a certain person, for the sake of his mother & father, does what is unrighteous, does what is discordant. Then, because of his unrighteous, discordant behavior, hell-wardens drag him off to hell. Would he gain anything by saying, 'I did what is unrighteous, what is discordant, for the sake of my mother & father. Don't [throw] me into hell, hell-wardens!' Or would his mother & father gain anything for him by saying, 'He did what is unrighteous, what is discordant, for our sake. Don't [throw] him into hell, hell-wardens!'?"

"No, master Sariputta. Even right while he was wailing, they'd cast him into hell."

"What do you think Dhanañjani? There is the case where a certain person, for the sake of his wife & children ... his slaves & workers ... his friends & companions ... his kinsmen & relatives ... his guests ... his departed ancestors ... the devatas ... the king, does what is unrighteous, does what is discordant. Or would others gain anything for him by saying, 'He did what is unrighteous, what is discordant, for the sake of refreshing & nourishing his body. Don't [throw] him into hell, hell-wardens!'?"

"No, master Sariputta. Even right while he was wailing, they'd cast him into hell."

"Now, what do you think, Dhanañjani? Which is the better: one who, for the sake of his mother & father, would do what is unrighteous, what is discordant; or one who, for the sake of his mother & father, would do what is righteous, what is concordant?

"Master Sariputta, the one who, for the sake of his mother & father, would do what is unrighteous, what is discordant, is not the better one. The one who, for the sake of his mother & father, would do what is righteous, what is concordant would be the better one there. Righteous behavior, concordant behavior, is better than unrighteous behavior, discordant behavior.[2]

"Dhanañjani, there are other activities — reasonable, righteous — by which one can support one's mother & father, and at the same time both not do evil and practice the practice of merit.

"What do you think, Dhanañjani: Which is the better: one who, for the sake of his wife & children ... his slaves & workers ... his friends & companions ... his kinsmen & relatives ... his guests ... his departed ancestors ... the devatas ... the king ... refreshing & nourishing his body, would do what is unrighteous, what is discordant; or one who, for the sake of refreshing & nourishing his body, would do what is righteous, what is concordant?

"Dhanañjani, there are other activities — reasonable, righteous — by which one can refresh & nourish one's body, and at the same time both not do evil and practice the practice of merit."

Then Dhanañjani the brahman, delighting & rejoicing in Ven. Sariputta's words, got up from his seat and left....

It is not easy to clearly cut through although it is known when to better let go of things.
Developing the faith in doing righteous actions by cutting down kilesas is surely not easy when it comes to emotional matters.

Yes Upasika Sophorn. That is why there is nothing more important as kalyanamitta, yet they are usually most hated and terrible annoying. One usually believes somebody touching ones defilement the biggest enemy, touring around in the misery of love and hate, preferences and preoccupations.

Here for example: a so even called Arahat of our days...

Luangta helping and supporting his fellow countrymen and animals
(40 pictures)

Luangta Maha Bua helps his fellow countrymen. The help included distributing blankets, rice and medicine; financing communal buildings; supporting hospitals; helping to feed animals etc.

 Luangta's Project 'Thais help Thailand'

  -  View Albums  (4)
The 'Project Thais' initiative to help Thailand (27 pictures)
Luangta Maha Bua initiated 'Project Thais help Thailand' in 1998 to help Thailand out of the economic crisis. Many Thais offered gold, dollars and Thai currency to Luangta. Luangta then offered the dollars and the gold to the Thai nation
Wat Asokaram in Bangkok (10 pictures)
Photos showing the inauguration of the chedi (stupa) dedicated to all the arahants in Thailand, and the offering of gold and money for the project 'Thai's help Thailand'
Collection of gold (12 pictures)
Before the gold could be put into the national reserve, the different forms in which it had been offered (gold bars, gold rings, gold bangles, gold chains etc.) had to be melted down and purified. The photos here show the collection of these different forms of gold.
Offerings of the donated gold and dollars to the Thai nation (16 pictures)
On 15 separate occasions, Luangta Maha Bua personally offered the accumulated gold and dollars to the Thai Nation, so that it could be stored in the national treasure. On the 16th occasion, a few months after his death, his disciples made the offering for the last time. A total of more than $10 million and more than 13 tons of gold were given to the Thai State.

Simply a shame for their teachers and this tradition and any comment else would be in support of defilement.
That's how "Buddhism" grows, but actually its just about planting defilement, grow them, all over the world. If defilements would not be popular, they would not be populated. A world heavy sickness.

As far as it goes in direction of Dhammadano, sadly I have to tell you that he is not different to his Moderators and the whole approach given by defilement fondling community of DW.
Rather to try to get rid of them, they even provide each other with reasons to stay simply fools.

Quote from: Dhammanando

Quote from: another wise laiperson trying to get him on track
Getting rid of the flea or the larvae is the result of anger.

Yes, but it is mitigated by one's wish for the cat's welfare.

   WHY FLEAS ARE BAD

There are over 1900 flea species in the world. We are concerned with only one: Ctenocephalides felis, the cat flea. This is the flea that we find on our pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, and other species) in 99.9% of cases and in order to understand how to control the damage caused by this tiny little animal, you should learn all you can about it.

WHAT KIND OF DAMAGE CAN FLEAS CAUSE?

It would be a grave mistake to think of the flea as simply a nuisance. A heavy flea burden is lethal, especially to smaller or younger animals. The cat flea is not at all selective about its host and has been known to kill dairy calves through heavy infestation. Conditions brought about via flea infestation include:

    • Flea Allergic Dermatitis
(remember, fleas do not make animals itchy unless there a flea bite allergy)

    • Flea Anemia

    • Feline Infectious Anemia
(a life-threatening blood parasite carried by fleas)

    • Bartonella (cat scratch fever)
(does not make the cat sick but the infected cat can make a person sick)

    • Common tapeworm infection
    (not harmful but cosmetically unappealing)

REMEMBER THAT MOST PET OWNERS HAVE NO IDEA THAT FLEAS CAN KILL

This is so important that we will say it again: Most pet owners have no idea that fleas can kill. On some level, it is obvious that fleas are blood-sucking insects but most people never put it together in their mind that enough fleas can cause a slow but still life-threatening blood loss. This is especially a problem for elderly cats allowed to go outside. These animals do not groom well and are often debilitated by other diseases. The last thing a geriatric pet needs to worry about is a lethal flea infestation and it is especially important that these animals be well protected.

Also consider that in about 90% of cases where the owner tells us the pet does not have fleas, we find obvious fleas when the animal is flea combed. Despite the TV commercials, the educational pamphlets, the very common nature of the parasite, there are still some very large awareness problems in the public and a multitude of misconceptions.

FLEA MYTHS WE HEAR NEARLY EVERY DAY:

Myth: My pet cannot have fleas because he lives entirely indoors.
Fact: Fleas thrive especially well in the well-regulated temperatures of the home.

Myth: My pet cannot have fleas because if there were any fleas they would be biting (insert name of someone in the family reportedly sensitive to flea bites). Since this person is not being bitten, there must not be any fleas.
Fact: Despite Ctenocephalides felis’ ability to feed of a wide variety of hosts, this flea definitely prefers not to feed on human blood unless absolutely necessary. A newly emerged adult flea is very hungry and may well take a blood meal from the first warm body it finds. An adult flea knocked off its normal host will also be very desperate to find a new host and may feed on the nearest warm body it can find. In general, adult fleas regard human blood as a last choice and humans tend not to be bitten unless flea population numbers are high.

Myth: We do not have fleas because we have only hard wood floors.
Fact: Fleas love to develop in the cracks between the boards of hard wood floors.)

Myth: My pet cannot have fleas because I would see them.
Fact: One cannot expect to see fleas as many animals are especially adept at licking them away. Sometimes all we see is the characteristic skin disease.

Not that he tries to make it more relaxed, he even heedless increases anger and reasons that being feel each other as enemies.

100% real useless fool... and you don't need to worry in repeating such, as rebuking those who deserve to be rebuked, not to speak of "disciples" of the Buddha who act in such ways, will bring you in the worst case to heaven.

Since many years Atma, even still not ordained, to bring you together with people of integrity, but there is more then one reason, that one needs to assume the eightfold noble path is no more part of those who call themselves Bhikkhus and seldom within those call themselves disciples of the Buddha ("Buddhists").

If you have a possibility to deliver this and forward the rebuke, you should take on the chance, for it will be for not only your own long time welfare.

And don't worry, such is not sad to "get ride of them for ones preferences" (like the foolish reasoning of war and blood shedding of this fool in robes), but "kick them where they actually dwell" and out to get aware of there useless lane.

Remember pictures of fool and walk around them, when ever you can.

Know this person as somebody who speaks in praise of wrong view, wrong effort, wrong speech (even in the name of Buddha), wrong deeds (you can be sure that such a person is not shy to kill in person by himself), wrong livelihood (fondling communities of defilement by suggesting even wrong livelihood by getting engaged in trade with poison, advertising them even by quality and name) and no doubt, that he will in no way change his foolishness in this Buddha-periode.
