...
Shantum Seth's pilgrimage company is good and there are others too.
For Sri Lanka, if you know a Sri Lankan monk, it might be good to just go with him as your tour guide. They are very familiar with their country and you would just have to pay him some dana for his trip and the tour and his flight costs.
They normally love to travel, yet they just lake on the financial situations and a good reason to leave their "prisons".
Its a little reminder of why Bhante Gavesako has been a little stronger confronted in his adept to introduce a forest monks travel guide tourism, some four or five years ago, including his tramper rucksack approaches to the Holy Life...
But as it seem, their are easy to hire and there are shareable interests between dealer and costumer, who ever might be on which part of that. Atma is sure some of the monks would give good advises to have a nice holiday. Its a great business this wellness business, you feel always well be doing things people makes them feel well and you even get your material share.
I just wonder, if some travel agencies would not fear about their business, what brings me to an invitation Atma got some days ago:
Kriti Kochar,
neither is it good for one self, nor is it good for others and actually its stealing from the tipple gems at least the Sangha, making business out of Buddhas heritage and reputation. It would be quite better for you to think about a suitable income and how to make some merits and practice the path for your self.
This is not said to disturb you but a well meant and straight forward advice since Atma knows that there are less who would be honestly advice you for your own welfare.
One should not make an effort everywhere,
should not be another's hireling,
should not live dependent on another,
should not go about as a trader in the Dhamma. Ud 6.02
Aside of this matter, may you always find the good ways and look for your self with ease.

So there seems to be certain enjoy-adventure already... Next to employ them in publish houses, maybe we could find some good compensations in this travel business and mostly they are good in languages and history, so really good and cheap guides and you would even have a real good feeling of being protected on your travel.
