Today Nyom Chanroth , while my person on almsround, came up in the morning, brought up some material and iron, the Abbot from the south monastery gave a longer time ago, and started to work on finishing the roof of "Kuti under the young Bodhi-tree".

Originally Nyom Chanroth thought to put the concrete today on the roof.
Since in some weeks the street-building will finally start, a village meeting came in between. The last shadows along the street disappear and soon the alms-round will be a hot walk, given it will be an area of 12m where all the many old trees along the street, what ever kind, will be cut.

So he bought the required cement and other material (he is up to make the small toilet and even tiles for the floors are thought to find place there) up and the preperation for possible tomorrows hard physical work day has been done.

Normaly the life in the forest provides plenty of reminders of the dangers in holding on things and backwards of sensuality. Morning greatings of the Devadutas is always a gift.

Now, about one year later after Nyom Sophorn had the inspiration that it would be good to bild a small Kuti for seclusion, for the Noble Sangha, started with some other participater of the merits, the roof and gross work is finally done (althought required only some hours for two people).

Many have already taken part, smaller and larger, but not less kusala mind sets, and participated on this tiny undertaking for larges objectives and fruits of benefit for all.

Now Nyom Chanroth has an easier to handle the other works he might be up to do more independently, little by little. And he "loves" this little "styling" works and creative tasks.

There was seemingly a very intensive contact with "Deva" Sophorn, the last two days. May all be well and may she soon rejoin after that she "needs" to do.
Nyom Chanroth always reports his "mystical" dreams and fail not to send best wishes and joy in remembering all of the many large and small sacrifice, wondering "such a long time already, not even knowing where for now.

The rain waited till the work was done, and a short hint, that a plastic might be good tomorrow caused Nyom to think on such without forgetting it.

Yesterday, coming up to look after the roof and to carry brick up the hill, Nyom Chanroth told about this intended undertaking , praising the good date for it, telling about the costume folk event, in relation with Jataka 316 , he desired to seek for it in the books, finding out that the story in the Tipitaka is shorter then he used to read (commentary) and soon got dhammic lost in reading other Suttas on higher Dhamma, senual pleasure, it's backwards and the different kinds of pride and their origin. After this good hour of merits of high value, he took on the carry task for some hours.

And to share Nyom Chanroth s merits here, as he just told happily: "Althought there is not really any payment aside of transport, fuel... small things, since making it simlpy by joy on it, all the daily stories of life are of no problem and usuall. People often ask, "What, how much..." and they do not understand and wonder a lot."

Not burdened by desire for gain, "proud" and satisfied with one self, practicing the Dhamma in line with Dhamma, those who see the benefits clearly rejoice in other dimensions nor fearing to miss out fruits.

...one bag of bricks, one way up and down... 1000 bricks / 16 one way = 60+ walkabouts, reading, discussing the Dhamma between, each a chance to see as it really is... up and down.

Then, yesterday, he walked up to the 2nd Kuti, telling later that he looked for a comfortable way up to the future 3rd.

A little "burdened" by being the heat element provoced in the body, my person thought it would require some neutralization.

Short later Nyom Chanroth came back from his carry-break and asked to offer medicine, having found a tree right next behind the 2nd Kuti, a កន្ទួត ព្រែ, Konduat Brey-tree, the secound fruit, next to the fruit (សម៉, samau), which is used in combination with urine, direct allowed to use as medicine.

Dependent origination 

Here, all beings (the elephant) having consumed the three ponds of craving are consumed by craving, as the elephant is itself gulped down by a small green frog, a symbol of craving (since ordinary frogs can inflate themselves while this one has managed to gorge itself with all the cravings!) The sequence of events illustrates the teaching of Dependent Arising (Paticca-samuppāda) [9]. The water in the ponds is regarded as sensory contact (phassa) which gives rise to the three feelings (vedanā), which in turn leads to craving (taṇhā). Craving gives rise to grasping (upādāna) [10] which leads to existence (bhava) [11] and consequently causes birth (jāti) [12].

The symbols here are like those of the last picture: the bird having eaten the snake, the snake the frog, the frog the elephant, and the elephant having drained the three ponds of water. This picture, although by a different artist is used here to show a similar thought.

The white ants have been carried away by the dung-ants, the robe has been colored, Chanroth joyfully lays bricks up the hill, and Atma will now take a rest, the body not so well. Not short after the snake was gone, the frogs continued their socialization for the sake of becoming.

Mice have been gone this days, now it frog time.
