Werte Dhammafreunde,

Code: [Select]
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://forum.sangham.net/tipitaka-khmr_sangham.css" />
tipitaka-khmr_sangham.css Datei entsprechend der Schrift auswählen.

Venerable Ladies and Gentleman,

Venerable representatives of Vipassana Research Center

Dear Dhamma friends,

we are currently running a layman project to erect such as a "virtual" Vihara on sangham.net, which main purpose is to give monastic people and also others who tend to stick to a high virtuous live the possibility to meet each other and to give Laypeople the possibility to get in contact with the Sangha in the future.

The main propose is to provide a environment and prerequisites which make it possible to access the internet "realm" in a way that it does not require actions which could cause even subtle remorse for practitioner. As soon as the development is worthy enough and proper, the Vihara should be handed over to the Sangha.

Now, what would be a Vihara without the delivered teachings of Buddha?

This days I came once across your most meritorious work on http://www.tipitaka.org and at this moment the thought arouse, that it would be good an needed to provide such for monastic use (Sangha) in a way that it does not require to take resources which are maybe not directly given.

So for such a use and for internal studies, we would like to provide the Tipitaka for Sangha proposes. It is not intended to make them directly accessible for the public but just for members with discernment as well as for the Sangha and monastic people as soon as they would use the possibilities on sangham.net.

I had already started to copy 6 documents (xlm files) to test the general and technical integration possibilities and it would work in a way that I guess it would not limit any quality or propose.

So I kindly would like to request:

"Venerable Representatives of Vipassana Research Center, I like to request the use and integration of the Pali Tipitaka according the Chaṭṭha Saṅgāyana (as provides on http://www.tipitaka.org) for the purpose to make it accessible and useable for the Sangha members as well as for internal study proposes on sangham.net for people who are not members of the monastic Sangha"

Hoping that I had not demand to much of your precious time, I like to thanks for your interest and I am looking forward to get your respected answer to our official request.

Aside of this and independent of this issue, I would like to heartily invite you and your whole team and friends to participate in the project of developing this multilingual "Virtual Dhamma Vinaya Vihara" in what ever way you might like to get involved. You are also invited to announce and inform about your undertakings and project. Depending on the kind of use, I would feel honored to prepare you proper accounts. Of cause you are free to register your self as well. Every kind of co-work, critic, ideas and Anomudana is very welcome.

(If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to forward them)

Yours respectfully

The lists contain the links to the certain Sutta. The blue underlined "|§..|" link leads to the external resource of tipitaka.org (Vipassana Research Institute) and will open a new tab in your browser. Not that the anchor leads to the first paragraph of the Sutta and in the case it might not work (the anchors are put under the reference "name" which is not supported by all html versions) just go to the command line of your browser and click enter, so it would move to the certain place. The additional numbering SN.... i|s reclined on the PTS counting system, but not made even and coherent yet.

.... list, please see direct the page [more than 3500 cross links]
