$0.99 Bodhi Leaves and more from BPS
The Buddhist Publication Society (BPS), founded in Sri Lanka in 1958, is an approved charity dedicated to making known the teaching of the Buddha. BPS publications represent the standpoint of Theravada Buddhism, the oldest living Buddhist tradition of which the Pali Canon gives the most authentic account of what the historical Buddha himself actually taught. In a span of nearly five decades the BPS has become a major Buddhist publisher with hundreds of titles and a field of distribution extending to ninety countries. Pariyatti is currently the North American distributor of all BPS titles.
Their shortest publications, the Bodhi Leaves, are available for $0.99 each. The Wheels, slightly longer booklets, are $3.95 each. They also print many full-length books, the majority of which can be purchased for less than $10.
Dhamma - dealing is generally the most wimpy kind of livelihood and with 100% coming back guarantee, but even more disusing is it, if people even thing they do it for a good... to greedy to share even that what they have been given freely before...
"Even if a person throws the rinsings of a bowl or a cup into a village pool or pond, thinking, 'May whatever animals live here feed on this,' that would be a source of merit."
