My person likes to introduce the monastery Wat Sambo Antait a little:

Adress:
Wat Sambo Antait វត្តសំពៅអណ្តែត
Village Sray Gan ភូមិស្រែកិន
Commone Trobeang Cu ឃុំត្រពាំងជោ
District Oral (Aural) ស្រុកឪរ៉ាល់
Province Kampong Spey ខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ

Abbott: Ven. Phea Sobhaṇḍa, លុក ភក្ត្រ សុភណ្ឌ័ (mobil: +855 (0)98 80 22 29)
Aramika (Acariya of the monastery): Ket Kan សោកអាចារ្យវត្ត កេត កាន (+855 (0)88 88 81 440 ) also tour guide for walk up to the mountain Aural.

The monastery lies about 2,5km walk south of the Ashram Thmo Duk and is situated between the road up to the last village an the small river coming down the western valley of Mount Aural.

This is what villager tell about the Wat:
The monastry is relatively young. The village monastery was distroyed in the Pol Pot area and the rebuilding on the old place was later sacrified for a school priject in the middle settlement as the norther part of the village build there own next to the commune with the most families.
Next the public bridge a villager builded a private one which he keeped in good condition and earned some money with giving travellers way ti cross the river. One night in this very remote area (cutting wood here was not popular in this time), the bridge owner had a dream that a monk would suddenly stand at his house an beg for alms. In the morning a forest monk (Ta Oung) cam across. He was on search for a remote dwelling place and asle the brudge owner if he may dwell in the forest around a small hill on the other side of the river, which was old forest in this days. The bridge owner provided food and also offered him to build him a kuti. That is how this monastery came to be right after the bridge of the village. People tell that the small hill is full of gold which has been carried down by the hill and since it was also dwelling place of turtles which used the sand of the river side for they eggs, it became the name turtle nest.
Later a famous sponsor of the Sangha here and oversee builded the small and nice Vihara.

The monastery, like most on the country side which are not right in the middle if a village is mostly supported by devoted richer people from Phnom Phen an far who enjoy to make their puñña ceremonies here.
Ta Oung, a Dudonga monk, who spended also a good time in the cave, left the monastery because of his high age and to be best supported next to family.
The young Abott is generally good educated but of course lacks of Kalayanamitta, young and much responsibility alone. Like nearly all village monasteries the Vinaya is very poor and since people around are not really that much interested in Dhamma there is at this time not much behind building an ceremonies althought the young monk has the vision to make it to a proper education place for young monks and novices. Such things like dwellings, kutis and all nessesary for monks directly are missing here while such as ceremony and food hall and other "event" buildings are already proper.
The Abott is also a heartly supporter of the hermitage cave and always helps out with logisting and also receiving guest in the village.

Currently there is a lager building project of the famous donor going on who is up to build a shipp corpus around the Vihara.
There is also a devoted lay person who tries to search for people who like to build a small line of small kutis for the novices.

In all logistic issues and for local connection in the area, the Abbott or the Acariya (contact above, only Khmer) are always heardly helping out to find good ways for visitor and supporter.

Attached some pictures of the monastery, the Abott and his Novices

This "wiki"-like backup tool is meant as a outwardy insurance that one does not be afraid that anything possible good can be desroyed or made bad while looking for cleaning it. So worry at all, kamma does not dissapear. No need to fear to make good deeds, knowing that.

And there is no intention to just make a museum out of a working and concentration camp, since the Dhamma can not be understood by just looking on forms but by learning and experiance skillful deeds.

Or to simply make a new post. No need to be shy in doing good things. It's not a museum, it's a working and concentration place. Mudita.

There is such as a "wiki" backup function in all posts, Nyom Danilo. Good is to use the mention option, at the places where making changes @Johann , that it gets not "lost".

I've recently fixed many words and sentences of the first post of the thread "Debts, but to whom?". It take me some time trying to figure out the meaning of some sentences. So it would be good if Bhante could check if the original intended meaning of the post still intact. I have a backup of the ori
