Sadhu! Nyom Senghour . Upasaka[1]/Upasika is very great, but sometimes the recipient might be a monk, so what to use best? Also sometimes receiver have not taken refuge yet. That was why លោ/អ្នកស្រី was used, to match all cases, but there might be a better solution as well.

What does Nyom Senghour think?

Sadhu! Nyom Senghour . Upasaka/Upasika is very great, but sometimes the recipient might be a monk, so what to use best? Also sometimes receiver have not taken refuge yet. That was why លោ/អ្នកស្រី was used, to match all cases, but there might be a better solution as well.

What does Nyom Senghour think?

Kana thinks Upasaka/Upasika makes better sense in the forum. In my opinion,លោក/លោកស្រី is normally used for addressing ordinary names in everyday life.
If the recipient might be a monk, special addressing should be additionally added.

Example: Upasaka/Upasika or Venerable X,

Maybe "Venerable Sir/Upasaka/i/Mr/Ms" but that is long... so a compromise between best and practical would be great, Nyom Senghour .
