Who ever might feel either obligated or likes to make use of a possibility for Dhamma-service and Dhamma-Dana.

When coming across possible errors, typos... my person usually sends an email to the Admin of Dhammatalks .org

Since getting response only in cases when it is a matter of technical things, things possible in the sphere of a admin in technical regards, it could be that things will be not forwarded, but simply "executed as ordered", which woukd be possible a lose.

Since my person does not have any possibility to get directer in contact, it would be good, if having ways, speak telephone or mail, to forward it.

Of course, origin of it is not necessary to be mentioned, so how ever one feels.

Good if a forward is marked, and good if received is mentioned as well, in this thread.

And yes, it can be used by everyone, to have it somehow collected.

On the other hand, since in modern world is freedom to take, or at least having more to feeling, very present, it will be probable lesser "disturbing, and if Admin or the Ven. Ones, wish to make use of the gifts, they are stored here.

(Also for this case, it would be good to forward and hand over in the "wished way" it's proclamed to receive gifts, if one likes to take on the task)

My person saw that fpr example "the paradox of becoming" has no cross-link, thought it was as specific hint.

In regard of Introductions its maybe "easier" later on, to put it in a certain devision or using a certain style id in the < p > tag, if a certain software does not allow it to handle easily.

Please see it just as hints and in no way as a request or blame of so much gift. Mat it be of use for your aspirations in trying to make your gift perfect for those worthy to be given of special gifts.

To keep it detached from later offering of the translation and possible cause conflicts: sent before the whole work has been seen.

here: should go, perform

- Uposatha, kammaṁ = Uposatha, transaction: sometimes Uposata is translated as Uposatha-Transaction, which might confuse.

- 1949 evañcetaṁ labhetha iccetaṁ kusalaṁ no ce labhetha te ñātakā bhikkhūhi evamassu vacanīyā iṅgha tumhe āyasmanto imaṁ bhikkhuṁ muhuttaṁ nissīmaṁ netha yāva saṅgho uposathaṁ karotīti.

and 1952 evañcetaṁ labhetha iccetaṁ kusalaṁ no ce labhetha na tveva vaggena saṅghena uposatho kātabbo kareyya ce āpatti dukkaṭassa.

seems to contoversal, following the translation, since if brought out of the territory, would a performed Uposatha not factional? Or, if translation is not unclear, should it be understood, that either when lay people are present or they removed him, but just if they let go out of then reason and leave, the Uposatha can be performed.

Here "again" transaction with Uposatha mixed, changed.

- 1943 te ñātakā bhikkhūhi evamassu vacanīyā iṅgha tumhe āyasmanto imaṁ bhikkhuṁ muhuttaṁ muñcatha yāvāyaṁ bhikkhu uposathaṁ karotīti.

It seems unseemingly that the Bhikkhus would adress the Bhikkhu by "your relative", rather then like elsewhere "this Bhikkhu"

1524 Typo: Then Yasa looked up at the the Blessed One.

2000 "If it’s not a burden for you, we would stay one night in your fire-hall." "we" seems not to fit to the context and occation.

General: Samana: sometimes, like in Sakyan-son Samanas, as Monks translated, most as contemplatives.

General: dhammavinaye is sometimes with Dhamma-Vinaya, sometimes with Dhamma and conduct translated. A translation Teaching/doctrine and conduct might be an alternativ if such is wished.

3751: "Then he should rub the water off the preceptor, give him his lower robe, and give him his outer robe.", outer Robe (dobble layer) seems to be unseeming, maybe "the robes" using "saṅghāṭik, as previous mentioned, in the case where robes are put together, is meant here as well.

3557: "Having dried the sitting cloth and sheet in the sun, he should clean them, shake them out, bring them back in, and lay them out them as they were laid out (before).", here it seems that singular is mixed with plural. Also, some similar passages sometimes include the sun in drying, here also "sheeting", som just have "dried".

3969: "Without having taken the preceptor’s leave, (the student) should not give an alms bowl to anyone, nor should he receive an alms bowl from that person.", is it sure that bowl not simply Almsfood is meant by "patta" here? Of corse it (almsfood) might be covered by "parikkhāro", later, and would bring the bowl into addition, or.... reading http://dsalsrv02.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/philologic/getobject.pl?c.2:1:1825.pali , "parikkhāro" seems to cover mainly the longer lasting requirement, not food or medicine, while if seeing "patto" as given, it would then cover food and medicine as well, which makes sense then.

4021: Typos: "Ne shouldn’t go anywhere." He...

4044: "If the preceptor has a bowl (left?) and the student doesn’t, the preceptor should give the student the bowl or make an effort, (thinking,) ‘How can my student get a bowl?’": "the bowl", "a bowl seems to fit the case better. One would ask which? His (only)? oh... commentaryseems to make it clear.

4094: "cīvaraṁ saṁharitabbaṁ cīvaraṁ saṁharantena caturaṅgulaṁ kaṇṇaṁ ussādetvā cīvaraṁ saṁharitabbaṁ mā majjhe bhaṅgo ahosīti
He should fold up the robes {SC: separately}, keeping the edges four fingerbreadths apart so that neither robe becomes creased in the middle"

ther should be Novizes (Samanera) instead of Monks (Bhikkhus)

Yasa was no Bhikkhu (trans. as monk) at that time, but Samana, Contemplative (one having gone fort), or?

8615: "Ven. Ānanda said, “I don’t dare to use the elder’s name. I have respect for the elder."

It seems reasonable that "I dare to use the elder’s name." is proper, not only out of context but also that it is till today very impolite to adress especial inferiors by name.

Ven. Bhante Thanissaro,

my person ask you to receive this gift (here attached, as html and simple pdf and doc), dedicated for the Sangha of the eight direction, and those following the Noble Ones, previously generously shared via Dhammatalks , coming to existence by means of what has been given by many in faith and effort of mine. It would be good when the Ven. Sirs, out of compassion for many, would receice this Dhamma-gift of transation of DN1 into German language and make proper use of it.

A second... a third time... and make proper use of it.

May the Devas and those able to transfer the gift, so that it can be proper received, have a share of the merits, rejoice with it, and take that what is not done yet, as an opportunity for their own grow.
May all beings have a share of the merits done here and growing from them, rejoice to the highest release, and may the Devas inform those not having been touched yet.

Having seen that Dhammatalks lacks of a search engine that does not involve third part enery, it would be good if, for those who abstain from not consciously given, an alternative would be given, thinking that the page is also thought for those sticking to higher virtue. Not very into the technical matter, http://sphider-plus.eu/index.php?f=0 seems as if it could fit in many aspects, if given for such.

Generally there is also lack in regard of fonts and scripts given to either individual Sanghas or the Sangha at large, and it's at the end not good to use third parts property and capacity. It would be good if such would made Dhamma more released and those willing to give able to do it without much remorse.

Typos, par.7: "being “a follower of a suspended (bhikkhuī).”"

In addition the previous, while translating, by person came accross those things. May it be of benefit and useful for the Ven. Sangha, Bhante and Dhammatalks :

* Sg11: “Lady, don’t — overthrown in even a trifling issue, angry and displeased — say, ‘The bhikkhunīs are biased through favoritism, biased through aversion, biased through delusion, biased through fear. It may be that you, lady, are biased through favoritism, biased through aversion, biased through delusion, biased through fear.’”

Apostrophe ' should be not at the end.

* np-18: ...sake of a bhikkhunī, thinking. “Having purchased a robe with this robe fund, I will clothe the bhikkhunī named so-and-so with a robe:” If the bhikkhunī, not previously invited, approaching...

colon seem to be incorrect

* np-20: ...The robe fund that you, venerable sirs, sent for the sake of the bhikkhunī has given no benefit to the bhikkhunī at all. May the you be united with what is yours. May what is yours not be lost.” This is the proper course here.

"May the you be united with what is yours" probably "May you be united with what is yours."

* pc-128: id, link and mark up is missing

* sk-part4: only "Four" not "Part Four"

* as-2: "This is the verdict of innocence given in an accusation, based on the fact that the accused remembers (remembers) fully that she did not commit the offense in question." remembers seems to be missing.

* Upper/lower case for Bhikkhu/Bhikkhuni are not consistent used

Eine Person ohne Vertrauen, Saddhaa, so sagen die Weisen, ist wie jemand ohne Hände und ohne Füße.

Also besser heute "unperfekt" beginnen, Anstelle perfekt wiedermal weiter nirgendwo Zuflucht zu erlangen. "Da ist nichts Gutes, es sei den man tut es."

Mögen alles stets vorrangig auf die Qualitäten von Handlungen und Hingaben, die Ursachen für Früchte achten und nicht wie dumme gewöhnliche Leute, Zeile fixieren und danach gfreifen, die Ursachen damit fehlen, nie zu Früchten kommend, falscher Mitteln für Wirkung bedient.
