Reading a little of his life story, Atma assums that it has been written by you, Nyom Lal , it seems that he was indeed one who has gone forth, a Noble Person.

It might be that a lay person teacher once become really confident in the Dhamma an leaves house, but it is really nonsens to believe that a monk renounced the Holly Life has actually gained anything, jet he/she might teach in a way that might be harmful for the possibility of the way to walk the holly life in the "social network" given by the Buddha for it, the Sangha of Bhikkhus.

Look forward to the generosity of translation of his talks.  Or better encourage to do so. Maybe Mohan Gnanathilake  likes to do such into German as well and it would be good if he uses the guidiance of Dhammateacher Lal for such.

Its not easy to give what is difficult to give, what we olve most, our time, our skill, our family, our possession, our supporters, give access to our beloved teacher without a claim.

Its good to follow our teachers not only in words.



Weerasinghe Ãracchige Abhayarathna was born on 1950 in a village named Waharaka, Gonagaldeniya, Sri Lanka. He was as keen on Buddhism as a child and he began to practice various kind of meditation at his early age. He was so curious about dhamma and begins to experiment the dhamma methods from his childhood. At 1978 he got married and become a father of 2 children. As a lay person he began to spread dhamma and was much popular with some of the skills he had as a lay person. Most of the skills he got through the mediation were extraordinarily helpful for many lay people.
G 17Abayarathna was fully ordained as a monk on 2005, under the guidance of Ven. Dambadeniye Hathpaththuwe Sri Revatha Bhikku & Ven. Diyakelinawe Medhankara Chief Bhikku. His name changed as Ven. Waharaka Abayarathanalankara and he donate all his assets to the name of Dhamma. Even his wife, his son & his daughter entered to the monk – hood and as the whole family dedicated their lives to follow the path nirvana the whole family got quite popular in Sri Lanka.
Ven. Waharaka Abayarathanalankara Bhikku has special abilities which are really helpful to understand the pure dhamma. ...

Translating the Dhamma talks is an extremely difficult and weighty task. It requires support, human resources, and many other conditions in order to be carried out. I have neither the human resources nor the  support, and the other conditions are not ideal either.

Its not easy to give what is difficult to give, what we olve most, our time, our skill, our family, our possession, our supporters, give access to our beloved teacher without a claim.

Its good to follow our teachers not only in words.

This it is because of giving that longer lasting gain arises... how few are those know, how few are those having faith.

My person wonders of how this Ven. teacher would have taught about maccharia, such as stinginess of skills, ones family, supporters, gains, like teacher...  :)

Upasaka Lal ?

Its modern to pull heritage in ones house this days, and raise ones pets, not like in the past where people used to dedicate the best fruits upwardly never would keep even Dhamma in their houses but would give it for their desired future trace to monasteries and monks...

Please be careful and investigate enough before trusting and starting projects.

General opinion of the majority of Sri Lankan Sangha is this: (As I have heard)

1. Waharaka Abhayaratanalankara
2. Meevanapalane Siri Saddhammalankara
3. Walasmulle Abhaya
4. Pitiduve Siridhamma/ Siri Samanta Bhadra

"Above mentioned monks are cunning or have miccaditti. They are disobedient to the sangha. Because the general public doesn't have a good Sutta or Pali knowledge, they deceit or seduce people using fabricated Pali meanings and wrong Sutta explanations."

Deva gus , listen your self. My person has not heard any extended talk by him.

My person could not find any essencial problem for now, in Upasakas try to defent.a person he ows much debt possible.

Better investigate and be carefull of certain movement and what is under their copyright.

None is taught about taking and giving, debts... in this realm. None is taught proper about using marketing and marked, improper dependency, kamma of mind and finematerial cultur, tradition weakening...
