Its a very interesting connection between Buddha Dhamma, its origin and the connection to SEA (Kampuchea Cambodia) and Europe (greek and middle Europe) and maybe nice to seen in the art of those tribes.
Gandhara Gandhāra (Sanskrit: गन्धार, Persian: ویهیند, Urdu: گندھارا) is an ancient kingdom (Mahajanapada), located in parts of modern-day northern Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan. Gandhara was located mainly in the Peshawar Valley, the Pothohar Plateau and the Kabul River Valley. Its main cities were Purushapura (modern Peshawar), literally meaning "city of men", and Takshashila (modern Taxila) .
Kambojas
The Kambojas (Sanskrit: कम्बोज, Kamboja; Persian: کمبوہ, Kambūh) were a kshatriya tribe of Iron Age India, frequently mentioned in Sanskrit and Pali literature. Modern scholars conclude that the Kambojas were an Avestan speaking Eastern Iranian tribe at the boundary of the Indo-Aryans and the Iranians, and appear to have moved from the Iranian into the Indo-Aryan sphere over time.
The Kambojas migrated into India during the Indo-Scythian invasion from the 2nd century BCE to 5th century CE. Their descendants controlled various principalities in Medieval India.Athena in the art of Gandhara Standing Buddha, Gandhara (1st–2nd century), Tokyo National Museum Female spouted figure, terracotta, Charsadda, Gandhara (3rd–1st century BC)

Prince Siddhartha Gautama Shakyamuni (1st–2nd century) Standing Bodhisattva (Fr. Bodhisattva Debout). Pakistan, Gandharan art, site of Shahbaz-Garhi. The identity of the bodhisattva is not known, so the work is is simply titled "Standing Bodhisattva." The representation is of a standard bodhisattva of the Gandharan style, displaying the fearlessness mudra. No clear indicator identifies the figure as one bodhisattva or another. The Musée Guimet suggests that it may be Gautama or Avalokiteshvara.Very interesting:
