Um allen Beteiligten ... (simply and quick translated)
To provide everybody with a secure and reassure enviroment, it would be better to keep it for now in an area which is only readable for members, from my view.
It's very strong anchored in the "western buddhist spirit" (acquired?) that every critic - may it well meant as well meant can be - is regarded as "wrong speech", which is somehow a hindrence for all participator.
Further more its not meant to decry or "enacted", but it should be used as a helpful (interacting) tool, so that also wholesome changes are possible.
So würden intelligente Leute praktizieren.

Thanks a lot for the share of your views. Sounds very balanced and wisely. Btw, you are also able to vote in the section at the top.
Some thought in addition to that:
The “western spirit” is actually the opposite of the “western Buddhist spirit” and a critical and nagging. In addition the is the broadly adopted “Buddhist spirit” a spirit that is adopted mostly from traditional “un”-habits from institutional religions (camouflage and sugarcoat has its tradition in Asian folk religions as well). As critic can be very harmful for institutional Religions (worldly institutions) and we also have a generally tendency to establish a religion and lesser simply noble costumes, its clear why people tend to take the lesser problematic seaming problem.
As for the issue „decry”, it is totally right that the generally intention is to change things and turn them to a better and not simply a condemn, but this “decry” or “being enacted” is also a tool that Buddha added as a tool for Sanghaissues to be able to put pressure on unregenerate Sanghamembers (the pressure of the own group is a very effective one) and to keep them with this tool form damaging the Sangha, Dhamma, Vinaya but at least also form ameging themselves. If such does not work for a person, he/she is is a dead loss, but it will not touch the Sangha … and keep the reputation and the existing of them alive. That is how all of this was able to survive more then 2500 years.
I think – as it is for example also readable in the Vinaya – that every case has its special demand and how to work it out, for people who have not enough sensitivity is well explained and mentioned in the Vinaya.
But I also think that the righteous practicing people are today in a minor number and some support of laypeople is very needed, as the own group can make good pressure, also in the case if is it is not meant for a good and a right purpose.
Even the Buddha encouraged for the seeking of supporter and wise people to strengthen the position against dispraise and misinterpretation. Of course this is also not manage able with simple lobbyism or democratic rules, but at least only with discernment and true words.
That laypeople and ordained people coexist in a circle and interacting supporting their tendencies is clear. Something like an authority, like we are used to have, does not exist between wholesome and unwholesome and what is simply true.
On the other hand, to come back to the sub-forum issue, it’s also that everybody is able to register and inform one self.
Something that is also a very general habit, which I really do not like, is the other extrem of talking from behind or in the backyards. Sometimes it’s also a “just informing them who are beloved”, which should be also not forced or declared as a good way. Personally there is nothing more welcome as a public and straight forward position, as for it, one is able to react and uproot misinterpretations and assuming. With treading “safety” the problem is mostly not solved. The opposite could grow easy from “not yet, maybe later” to a bombastic bomb. Ulcerate are not growing to a better if we let them grow meanwhile, as it is not sure if we can leave Samsara in this very existence. One is clever, if he does not wait till the day when there might be a tool to uproot the problem without pain. But who likes to approach the doctor: “Its still ok, I am still able to bear.”
A very western behavior is also to care about other much more as about one self and never sweep in front of the own house first. It seems that we have mostly less to do, so that we take care on others and do not look about our own issues.
I also thing that it is important to view the whole tool not as “hot stories and scandal press” – as for this reason, many might be interested in it, so they are also love to read news and boulevard press.
It’s all more about enlighten, change assuming with knowing and to develop the foundation for headway, without underlying the pressure of maybe not so uncorrupt institutions.
Vinaya is in opposite to the worldly justice no retaliation justice, even the tool of demand reparation and avenge is included (but a self decided one not a third person executed one) to satisfy the group demand and to reinstall the harmony.
I am very aware that it is somehow a hot iron, which makes many not happy but will be helpfull for those how like to live in accordiance with the Dhamma – Vinaya and those who like to get it known and understood.
Over all, I am go conform with you both, that it should be not posted generally in the show window but should be accessible for everybody who is interested, likes to participate and likes to learn.
As mentioned before, there are different kinds of treading differnt issus, some are good treaded by letting grass grow to cover it, some should be voted, some should be solved in a small group, some needs the involvement and the information to all…
Its for sure a challenge for all who participate here to take the things up in the right way and to tread them that it would make the condition possible that also “professionals”, those who do both, live in accordance with it and teach in accordance with it, will be able to join and help where our wisdom will have some lacks.
Althrough I am very happy that you participate in this labor with an open heart.
And nobody should be shy to point out if someone is doing something unwholesome, even if it might be good to look up one self first. That means we need to put much effort in making us better first, to be able to advice others.
That is my very personal wish and this wish is maybe also good meant for the whole here. Not without reason it is said in the traditional invitation to rebuke, which was installed by the Buddha for his community: “If you have compassion, than rebuke my behaviour, what has the need to.”, and I guess it is good if we also declared and wish this for the whole Virtual Dhamma-Vinaya Vihara.
Joy with learing further and getting faults decovered is something that is not so common, but there are people who are interested in such and seek for such and for them it should be a place to grow and not for those who just like to be confirmed in their views.
Maybe some simple words form Ajahn Chah at the end
Living with Dhamma in the World :
...Usually when people encounter something disagreeable to them they don't open up to it. Such as when people are criticized: ''Don't bother me! Why blame me?'' This is someone who's closed himself off. Right there is the place to practice. When people criticize us we should listen. Are they speaking the truth? We should be open and consider what they say. Maybe there is a point to what they say, perhaps there is something blameworthy within us. They may be right and yet we immediately take offense. If people point out our faults we should strive to be rid of them and improve ourselves. This is how intelligent people will practice.
Where there is confusion is where peace can arise. When confusion is penetrated with understanding what remains is peace. Some people can't accept criticism, they're arrogant. Instead they turn around and argue. This is especially so when adults deal with children. Actually children may say some intelligent things sometimes but if you happen to be their mother, for instance, you can't give in to them. If you are a teacher your students may sometimes tell you something you didn't know, but because you are the teacher you can't listen. This is not right thinking.
In the Buddha's time there was one disciple who was very astute. At one time, as the Buddha was expounding the Dhamma, he turned to this monk and asked, ''Sāriputta, do you believe this?'' Venerable Sāriputta replied, ''No, I don't yet believe it.'' The Buddha praised his answer. ''That's very good, Sāriputta, you are one who is endowed with wisdom. One who is wise doesn't readily believe, he listens with an open mind and then weighs up the truth of that matter before believing or disbelieving.''
Now the Buddha here has set a fine example for a teacher. What Venerable Sāriputta said was true, he simply spoke his true feelings. Some people would think that to say you didn't believe that teaching would be like questioning the teacher's authority, they'd be afraid to say such a thing. They'd just go ahead and agree. This is how the worldly way goes. But the Buddha didn't take offense. He said that you needn't be ashamed of those things which aren't wrong or bad. It's not wrong to say that you don't believe if you don't believe. That's why Venerable Sāriputta said, ''I don't yet believe it.'' The Buddha praised him. ''This monk has much wisdom. He carefully considers before believing anything.'' The Buddha's actions here are a good example for one who is a teacher of others. Sometimes you can learn things even from small children; don't cling blindly to positions of authority.
Whether you are standing, sitting, or walking around in various places, you can always study the things around you. We study in the natural way, receptive to all things, be they sights, sounds, smells, tastes, feelings or thoughts. The wise person considers them all. In the real practice, we come to the point where there are no longer any concerns weighing on the mind.... So, I guess I have piffle already to much again and if I would not have the desire to translate it in a kind of English also, I would maybe go on with talking but the work one is making one self has to be done as well.
A detail explaining of the sub forum can be found in the Subforum and Buddha taught to use right desire and not willinglessness as the way to get free of desire.
Form nothing comes nothing but it’s not already empty yet.
