While it would be total improper for a follower of the Noble Ones, not to speak about Noble Ones themselves, to lead talks on Kings, politics or worldly heroes, the circumstances here give ways, since this seldom respectable person is known to be not involved in the eight worldly Dhammas, is known foremost as devoted Lay Disciple of the Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha.
Many in the world therefore might not even know that there is still a very real Dhamma-King, althought the possible last one in this world period, resisting in this world.
The Great King is possible the most poor King in the world, in regard of outwardly wealth, including praise, honor and pleasures, not even taking a wife, leading a modest life, looking after his old mother, the Queen, it's hardly to overseen by those with eyes, that being here touched of the most Sublime of his kind, under householders.
The talk is on the Great King of the Khmer Norodom Sihamoni, who accepted the throne only under the "compromise" (as it is told by many) that he would not step back from refuge and observation of the Eight Precepts.
Not much more could my person tell about an outstanding lay follower, having looked around yesterday evening whether there would be some left in this world.
May this "reality", this sample of leading a righteous life, even as lay person, if circumstance allow it, be an inspiration for many, for the whole world, that a life of non-conflict, non-harming, of goodness and sublimity in regard of what is really praisworthy is possible.
May the Devas inform those having been not touched by the merits of Upasaka Great King Norodom Sihamoni, to get touched by the possible last "real" ancestors of "Wheel turning Kings", Kings who are follower of the Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha.
May he be not only a Sublime samples for his direct children and grand children, his folk the Khmer, but also for other great kings and leaders and therefore the wise wishing for such with joy in Dhamma: Ayu, Vanna, Sukham Balam till panna. Long live, Beauty (honor), Heal (happiness) and strength (power) till highest wisdom (=release).
