Kana just came accross Bhants teachings on "Four Factors that Support or Prevent the Ripening of Kamma" and listened some minutes. Sadhu, Sadhu!
My person would like to ask Bhante if he would be willing to dedicate a copy of the audio toward the Sangha of which my person would "love" to share aside of commercial medias in given enviroment here.
One should not think that if living in spheres of what is given has lesser changes to leave the rounds of birth but the opposite, yet it's just to provide a field of merits that noble domain does not stop to go for alms.
If one dwells under the Devas having power of creation of others or enjoying them, in a palace like household, it's actually much more difficult not only to make path conducting merits but also to see dukkha behind pleasures.
The 4 kinds of maccharia are really tricky and defilements when there is still on-group-holding/accumulating-view are really skilled in hindering all the time, even justify strange behaviour with "householder modesty".
That's the way it is if in debt toward the Deva-King, Mara and it's host. Don't one think that kings and slaves are not bound to each other and not a matter of Upanissaya to meet such condition. Mara and Deva-Kings, Leaders, have really no freedom at least, bond to their states, homes to nourish them.
Householder try to pull free into their empires, homeless "pull you out" into the "insecure" domain if giving into, relaying only on goodness, live on of what is given. Of course homeless disappear faster and those relaying on "secure" remain long in the world.
This special middle path providing with what is needed to go beyound is really a tiny trace in the middle of forest. A matter of Upanissaya.
