What do you think: There are two people eager after doing good. One focus on material sacrifices at first place, the other on metta at first place. One does what ever he thinks needed to serve as many monks on many places, does not take in account the harm not done yet, to go after his undertaking. At the end of the festdays he had served 10.000 monks in 50 monasteries all over the country. And the there is the other person. Considering of what he actually has, he takes that, uses it in not harmful way to prepare it as dishes and walk carefully on to place it where it is used for non harmful deeds. At the and of the festdays it runs out that he served only one or two or even failed at all by lack of means or occation. Whom of the two may had done more merits, can relay on his undertakings long, without remorse?
