For a homeless meditator,

It's easy to remain strict on vinaya(5) at body, speech & mental level, which when one starts following-- goes beyond counting in numbers of vinaya.
Such person, if finds surrounding enviornment(people) to be opposite of dhamma, can simply go for addhitthana till a state of "reversal-defiled-pattern-within" is reached.

What about householders?

There are many different types of activities involved in household (responsible) life. Some involve a person to remain serious in character. Some involve a person to remain casual, cool in character...eg an agent/commondo , a joke-cracking-job, a housewife(she has to remain serious and casual as well), a builder etc.

Why do I think that there are lost techniques to this, probably stolen by hindus and mughals during their invasion on buddhist-jain India?

Some of those techniques might be
..)Bhakti Marga(involving mantra too) of 5 percepts at  body and speech level....... for casual characters.

..) mix of meditation and bhakti marga for housewife type roles

..)meditation marga for serious commondo/agent type roles.

Some too are...

..) Spiritual power marga of tantra with 5 percepts at mental level (an extremely difficult practice). Buddha used to use this technique to tell about previous 1000s of births, put rain on drought-land.
 After buddha,

guru nanak(who performed both roles of householder and ascetic, also known as strongest kid-like-LAMA in regions of sikkim-Tibet) used this technique to defend against few tantrik-beauties in bangladesh,

When a full army of mughals tried to invade North-East India then within one-night few hidden tantrik-protectors of that time vanished away that whole army using nature like wind, water and lightning...... those soldiers who survived, became permanent and loyal citizens and started residing in that area....... that region is filled with theravada buddhists and it is also famous for strongest possible tantriks of earth, mostly of whom are buddhist(actually, they have a mixture of aghori and buddhist teaching, passed down from ancestors).

but 2 paths of mantra and tantra are currently corrupted by breaking 3rd percept.
Be Happy,
🙂

Nyom Vivek ,

the eightfold path, as means of path for release, requires perfection in virtue, build on right view (which incl. saṃvega, renouncing incl.). The virtue section end with right livelihood, of which the perfect one would be the life of a "beggar".
If there is no right livelihood, there can be no perfection in virtue. Maybe Nyom likes to investigate the factor right livelihood a little: Right Livelihood (samma-ajivo) .

Because it's actually mostly difficult to chance ones livelihood into one fitting into Dhamma, there has been this "economy of the Noble Ones " established by the Buddha.

The other part of Nyoms post isn't really worthy to sacrifices much thoughts orarguments into and can be abound if certain faith allows such.

If there aren't actually hindrances to ordain, the only reason why one would not go on to strive for ordination in the Sangha, would be still lack of faith into the Tripple Gems, headed by the Buddha, or, yes of course, indoxication in youth, health and life, not seeing the dangers in the world yet.

Only in less cases, where certain merits allow it, may a life as "householder-yogi" be one that isn't of demerits in long term view. Still strong dependnd on the world, oe might forget the duties of common relations, lack of merits in this regard later, yet at the same time often develops simply "vipassana-defilements" or get's lost in the many realms of existances without having even gained the stream. The path is one which can only be attained when leaving home/stand, at least temporary.

In regard of the topic title: nothing got lost, is lost, put certain lack in faith of what had been taught by the Buddha might one bring to the speculation to search for short-cuts or assume to be wiser as the Sublime Awakened One.

My last advices cum warnings to uncle J.

 Please keep in mind, I don't wish to tease or disrespect you, dear uncle or dear elder or dear cave-man :) .

Points to be noted my-lord(••••• bhakti-marga starts, pretending to be in court of dhamma).

•••perfection in virtue, build on right view (which incl. saṃvega, renouncing incl.)

Completely in wrong direction.....blind faith-cum-observation.

These 2 statements can only be made by one-sided meditator, one who gives preference to "beggar" life only .... like traditional brahmins.

Is uncle perfectly established on right-householdness to claim 1st point?
These 8 parts are interdependent on each other. Only a gem(lord of my-lord)can claim perfect establishment.

Has uncle attained enough virtues, enough merits to quickly gain enlightenment?
I hope, uncle knows that such is not the case otherwise uncle knows already basics to go for addhitthana till enlightenment.

My-lord, would I still have to listen to these blind-arguments, if argumentor is to be sent to a realm of "do physical work, earn money and eat"........ i.e. no support for begging, untill one is not physically/mentally handicapped.

Next point my-lord.

Quote
Because it's actually mostly difficult to chance ones livelihood into one fitting into Dhamma, there has been this "economy of the Noble Ones " established by the Buddha.

So, it has come down to this now, my-lord.
People think that to establish in dhamma, one needs to neglect others..... Ha! That's why I wonder why has there not been any venerable for past 2500-2600/- years.••••••

doing, "eating food, wearing clothes, using technologies, etc. household activities" and in-return providing "seemingly-blind-traditional-bounded-version-of" my-lord.
ISN'T THIS A TRADE .

Challenge to everyone on earth that keep following vinaya with "no-ordination to physically-disabled", etc. types of neglectings and get enlightened....... It  WILL never happen.

Quote
The other part of Nyoms post isn't really worthy to sacrifices much thoughts orarguments into and can be abound if certain faith allows such.

So, is uncle saying that he is above faith, my-lord.

 If such is the case, why is he still unable to remove attachment to hi-fi techs?
 Why is he still living a householder life in a cave?

If he is really above faiths, then he must have gone beyond NAIVSANGYAA-NASANGYAAYATAN (नैवसंज्ञा- नासंज्ञायतन) phase. If so, then my-lord, uncle must have progressed in realization of 4 noble truths, got enlightened••• as he has already knowledge of basics.

Dear uncle,

Start step by step, leave hi-fi tech, be a real cave-man, be a real-beggar, speak/write only what has been realized as "seemingly-right"... then, before or after(only for you) speaking/writing, self-judge it with arguments. Think from every perspective, .... Moments where bla-bla starts, thinking is nothing more than a noise, entry into "attainments" will start.

:::::::::::::::::::::
Right-livelihood????? Ha!
:::::::::::::::::::::
My-lord, even suttas tease many householders,... like teasing soldiers & handicapped for their livelihood and instead of providing them path to reach right livelihood, they have been banned from ordination.
:::::::::::::::::::::

::::::::::::::::::::::
My-lord, I remember that, life story of my-lords's lord says that venerable spend a lot of time too in teaching previous-dependent relations about livelihood for kings, for head of soldiers, for soldiers, where are they my-lord? Where are they?

Still, blind-people claiming to be my-lord's follower teases others through blind-vinaya.

And not only this my-lord, these people even FIGHT over respect-disrespect of a bhikkhu.
Really!! Basic definition of a monk/bhikkhu is ... One who doesn't give a damn about naam-rupa.... means not to put focus on respect-disrespect.
::::::::::::::::::::::::

My-lord, rest of the uncle's writing seems to be from different perspective?

In short, demerit occurs only when, person starts speaking like i am doing in this post...... not good for "someone aspiring to be a muni".

please, pardon my offences-- various hosts of various***....
Taking my leave now to have some(a long) quiet and peaceful time.

(Admin, please feel free to delete or ban(if i would have access, i would have deleted.... for betterment of seemingly-sangha) my account because next time, I might use some more harsh words which are not suitable for traditional-bounded-ones.)

 _/\_ my-lord.
Be Happy,

Sadhu. It's praiseworthy when one sees one faults and it's common in this tradition to pardon such while encouraging to put efforts in abstaining from it, Nyom.

("Admin" is the account of Upasaka Dmytro, the original giver of this place's software. There isn't anybody in charge or approved to take away the means of existance here, even if wished. If having technical issues, Nyom can address Upasaka Moritz.).

Please, don't act so carefree-selfish.
Even when you don't wish to, just don't do it.

 You have always been a choice of leaving the things as they are, why don't you stop reacting? Please don't react.

Please note that these types of thinkings might make one "mentally ill". When one has not been perfectly enlightened, how can talk to the "treasure of tathagata" be initiated? This talk can only be made between tathagata and venerable's treasure. Doing imagination on such will only invoke defilements.

Completely in wrong direction.....blind faith-cum-observation.

Only tathagata can say this. Please re-think that, " how can a blind ant scold another blind for blindness?"

तथागत ने कहा:: " स्वयं अपना ही दीप बनो"
Tathagata said:: " Be a lamp onto yourself"

Quote
These 2 statements can only be made by one-sided meditator, one who gives preference to "beggar" life only .... like traditional brahmins.

Please, stop your hatred for the faults of traditional-brhamins. It's immoral.

Quote
Is uncle perfectly established on right-householdness to claim 1st point?
These 8 parts are interdependent on each other. Only a gem(lord of my-lord)can claim perfect establishment.

Has uncle attained enough virtues, enough merits to quickly gain enlightenment?
I hope, uncle knows that such is not the case otherwise uncle knows already basics to go for addhitthana till enlightenment.

Please, don't question others.
Question your-self. When a person is having lot of debts, that person must never question or scold others for wrong-livelihood or having debts respectively.

Quote
My-lord, would I still have to listen to these blind-arguments, if argumentor is to be sent to a realm of "do physical work, earn money and eat"........ i.e. no support for begging, untill one is not physically/mentally handicapped.

Please don't punish others. Don't even think about it. Please learn from Jesus.

Quote
So, it has come down to this now, my-lord.
People think that to establish in dhamma, one needs to neglect others..... Ha! That's why I wonder why has there not been any venerable for past 2500-2600/- years.••••••

Challenge to everyone on earth that keep following vinaya with "no-ordination to physically-disabled", etc. types of neglectings and get enlightened....... It  WILL never happen.

Please, get established in dhamma, get enlightened and then show others rigth-vinaya.

Quote
doing, "eating food, wearing clothes, using technologies, etc. household activities" and in-return providing "seemingly-blind-traditional-bounded-version-of" my-lord.
ISN'T THIS A TRADE .

By claiming "seemingly-right-vinaya" to self, un-enlightened one is only showing own's defiled-behaviour.

Quote
So, is uncle saying that he is above faith, my-lord. ••••••••• as he has already knowledge of basics.
Please, stop criticizing others.

Quote
Dear uncle,

Start step by step, •••••• entry into "attainments" will start.

Please, don't push anyone.

Quote
:::::::::::::::::::::
Right-livelihood????? Ha!••••••••••Still, blind-people claiming to be my-lord's follower teases others through blind-vinaya.

Please, be a lamp onto yourself.

Quote
And not only this my-lord, these people even FIGHT over respect-disrespect of a bhikkhu.
Really!! Basic definition of a monk/bhikkhu is ... One who doesn't give a damn about naam-rupa.... means not to put focus on respect-disrespect.
::::::::::::::::::::::::

Please, don't fight against other people having wrong view/s.

Quote
My-lord, rest of the uncle's writing seems to be from different perspective?

In short, demerit occurs only when, person starts speaking like i am doing in this post...... not good for "someone aspiring to be a muni".

Please don't show-off yourself.

Quote

please, pardon my offences-- various hosts of various*** ....•••••••••••• traditional-bounded-ones.)

 _/\_ my-lord.

Please, be-gone and never come back with such ill-behaviour and "seemingly-right-blindness" for guidance & warnings.
