Title: Late dedication to another of the departured last kings
Post by: Dhammañāṇa on November 24, 2017, 07:41:49 AM
Weeks ago my person wondered why Nyom Vorapol (Bonn, TheY) carried black, asked no answer.

Some days ago downloaded a talk "Lessons from the King", found no time to listen and upload, but it was by Nyom Sophorn and her visit (http://forum.sangham.net/index.php/topic,8263.0.html), telling my person about her luck, traveling alone in Nepal invited and participating "accidently" on a tiny royal family sermon for the kings remainings in Nepal, that my person becomes clear: "Oh, another great person, person of guṇā (http://forum.sangham.net/index.php/topic,8256.msg13307/topicseen.html#new), has left."

No just found again the talk of the lesson, before sharing it, my person, althought most of you are possible already aware, likes to dedicate this topic in appreciation of great deeds and as a tiny motivation for all his many children and grand children in Thailand.

It has possible got lost for most modern and western people to get aware of the lose of a father in it's deep meaning.

May all strive for goodness and act in goodness, trying to be good heirs of good samples and appreciated the higher always as the higher, to the extend seeking even refuge in the Three Gems, meet them, in this very live.

My person would have much joy with other, if Nyom Sophorn could share her "luck" and some tiny pictures and to make understand, that only one who respects his own father and mother is able to develop gratitude to all the many generous supporter each of us is still gifted to meet.

A person who understands goodness and gratidute rightly is not a person becoming pride, but one of deep devotion, devotion some call "Buddha Natur" but actually acts of merits, acts of goodness.

My the samples and lessons, althought my person personaly does not know much about the late King Father of Thailand, of him be of long time motivation for not only the near relatives, not only for those able to identify yet.

There is nothing more of gratitude as to remember the goodness possible to do and to put right effort into everything to pay goodness to the highest aim back:

[En] Lessons from the King, by Bhante Thanissaro (http://forum.sangham.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get540)

It's by getting touched, aware of the goodness, deeds, of others, that ones own heart might be remined on goodness. That is what is meant when talking about "from heart to heart". Be touched!
