Since Nyom Cheav Villa is also cultural and by birth stronger related as many of those coming here in touch with the Buddha-Parisa (never be indroduced to basics), when ever she like to share costume and rituals of the good follower, elders, of the Noble Ones, always a gift for many. Blessed those getting in touch.

The tradition of Vandami, asking for forgiving, paying respect, taking refuge and asking for sharing the merits of the teacher, Juwels.

"One should worship the Juwels"

It's not only said but a visible fact observe-able under all communities not used to it, that if having brocken the Silas of refuge, offended the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, its impossible to progress in Dhamma. Once having harmed a Noble one, whether in person or in your imagination of the gems, one is totally cut of any attaining and having fallen into this low existence whole usually, if not following the traditional means, violations even increase.

That is the reason why buddhist communities, lay or ordained, give much embassy into veneration, asking for forgiveness and encouraging to respectable acts toward all signs displaying the Juwels.

Disrespect toward the Juwels, since it is gravely infecting others as well, is a reason for dispelling refugees.

What are signs of such?

He/she

strives for the Juwels and representatives' material loss,
strives for the Juwels and representatives' detriment,
strives for the Juwels and representatives' non-residence (i.e., so that they can't live in a certain place),
insults and reviles Juwels and representatives,
causes Refugees to split from Refugees;
speaks in dispraise of the Buddha,
speaks in dispraise of the Dhamma,
speaks in dispraise of the Saṅgha.

If one is not doctrinal traind, used by habits of traditional communities, one, by certain lack of capacity to see the effects, tends even more to violations and s therefore most of the time incapable to get the Dhamma heared and/or be touched by it. Why? Because the tripple Gems are no more his/her refuge, having transgressed the relation one is incapable to receive, whether blatant or subtile.

Having actually no more refuge one falls out of being a refugee, a "Buddhist" and has lost it's protection.

Without Saddha (devotion, sacrificing) at first place, no joy is gained, no satisfaction, concentration, insight and release.

Being in struggle with ones refuge, having harmed or harms the Juwels, no devotion, no sacrifices, no Saddha can be expected.

As long as the issue is not solved the relation is broken and no more exchange and gain can expected.

In most such cases, if one has no access to means and to less relation with admirable friends another Devadatta-like wandering on is often the outcome, blatant or subtile, visible or hidden.

While it's not the case that a Noble person can not trace such a case, one having not gained integrity is not really capable to sees such even in oneself. Lacking of doctrinal fundation any investigation, if even undertaken, will out of lack of concentration be of no success.

If still dwelling in Dhamma-Centers then it is mostly an existence like a hungry ghost depending on his former relatives to be maybe able to nourish on some sacrifices or that of an Asura "The demons — "titans" — that dwell here are engaged in relentless conflict with each other."

Therfore Vandami is a very key-practice under practioners, especially in communities and in teacher-student relations.
