Just because celebrating independency tomorrow. Cambodia is actually total in dependency on people with wrong view, who don't care about peace but just after win and gain. Facebook, owned by a Jewish Brahmin who advocates killing and war. Google, the modern worlds war machine, supported by people not a little fearing murder and war.
The less cambodian skilled people sell the heritage into this dependency on wrong view.
Dependency has two main reasons: lack of Saddha and lazyness. Lazy people are bound to stay and fall ever again into dedendency, are the slaves of Mara and conductive pride isn't something that believes old merits aren't gone already but a pride that urges for effort.
How can you celebrate independence in times when all but dependent on others and sell off good heritage? That's not a matter one person could fix, but of all who consume on what binds them outwardly of secure.
It's really not inspiring seeing an old and good cultur and religion find no more other ways then to meet on FB or at lucky burger using means of war industry.
They say liberated when totally caught by Mara and it's host.

But actually the real genocide is even stronger, since with words and traditions disappearing a culture, nation dies. Maras communism, consumism is much stronger then ever and nearly all are caught in the genocide camps of google and facebook.
There they are beaten by forms, sound, smell, tast, touch and ideas, burning off to nourish labor for war and gain.

The Buddhas medicine to overcome dependency is encouragement to strong effort on kusala sacrifices, while Maras lure is to consume what can be found on old labors off.
Gati gati paragati pārasaṁgati bodhi so ahaṁ (http://forum.sangham.net/index.php/topic,9643.msg21293.html#msg21293) or agati, agati, mahaagati jati marana.
It's not about no-labor, but labor intented for what and harmless.
It's not about non-debts and non-trade, but debts to whom and trade with whom, that leads either to long term happiness or heat and suffering.
