Reading this topic where a monk encourages to make the heritage of a Bhikkhu to common public domain:

https://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35674#p533321

my person likes to tell, please do not go after such as Bhikkhu. When a lay person takes on the possession of a departed Monks...

What ever a Bhikkhu, Samanera... might left behind should be handled according the Vinaya, shared under the Monks be given to the Sangha.

Maybe also some inspirations for some wise lay people who others then those who say "oh we have google, no effort needed" put a lot of effort to make a safe copy before all went down.

Oh... just saw its a "Bhikkhuni"... double important!!

It's good if finding anything related to Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha, to bring and donate it to a good Sangha, giving it a community of Bhikkhus.

For information: there was a wise lay person who scarified his own strength of effort by mind, speech and body who did take on it. Of course it's a matter of his choice what he will do with it.

One should not forget that Bhante worked with public power and means a lot and so it's possible that it wouldn't return into Noble Domain by it's causes. Also something to consider in this global Marxism tendency.
