Although the seed for later fruit is planted by ones deed, recollection, keeping it remembered, sharing... of ones merits is like the care of ones rice field.

Looking after it from time to time. Drain water in, if to less, drain water out if to much. Removing other plants around (removing doubts), ... that all increases the fruits and plants.

A good rice farmer in a good village would also take care not to damage the neighboring paddies, draining water off or let water from his field flood the others.

It's a skill, a care that needs to be learned in doing.

It wouldn't work out well if just planting far up in the forest. Less fruits can be expected. To cultivate a paddy is often an undertaking of many years and often such paddy as well as the skill with it, is a matter of generations. Not something one can learn on youtube but by being part of an old traditional "farmer-community".

One wouldn't easy learn such skill alone.

Only once the skill is really learned, penetrated, one can go out into the forest for his own, having become an independent "farmer".
