Sadhu, Bhante Khemakumara , "Noble Son of the peaceful"!

And nothing to worry that a teacher would not perceive his pupils gratitude but again points toward the liberation way from debts, toward the path.

Aside of fulfilling the duties toward ones preceptors, introduces, which is a lifetime duty, even when becoming an Arahat, the working on ones liberation till it comes to be is the only way to "repay" the goodness of the highest gods and parents, yes.

Bhante Johann,

Kana was talking to Bhante Indaññāno about his birthday and Kana tried to express how grateful he is that Bhante give him the possibility to live in a country, wat, sorounding of monks, where kana can practice the Buddha-Dhamma.

But it was not easy to find the right words to express this thankfulness.

And then, thougth came to mind that the best way,  to show respect and gratitude to ones teacher is, to bring the teaching in to daily life,  practice the Buddha-Dhamma. "The best way", to show respect an gratitude is,  to practice the way wich leads to liberation from lobha, dosa and moha. The noble eightfold “way” path.

May many don't miss out a great opportunity toward their teacher. Hard to repay, Viel getan - Much done - មានឧបការៈច្រើន.

(Bhante Khemakumara might not know it, just mentioned Bhante for such a case here.)
