Just as info: althought having increased the amount of characters allowed in the Talkbox, which generally works, when using to save edits of shouts in the adminsec. it seems that ALL shouts are cut down to the previous 256 chars, possible having missed to look for a "link" between settings and shoutadmin-save by the programmer, other things are seeming bugy as well in using shout-admin, like single-shout correction...

"Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message." appears quite often, sometimes making it impossible to direct post. It might have to do with the shout-box auto - refreshment my person enabled, but just a thought, not tracing any other resonable possible cause for it.

If appearing simply copy written content and approach topic anew pasting it in again.

Not sure if it looks now fine for everyone: tp provides the possibility of many ways to arange the block panels and so now set the two propably most beloved next each other at the top forcing same high. Should appear for desk somehow like first, for mobil like the secound attachments display. One may let it be known if problems.

"shouting" should be now possible for all members, found the setting of user permissions restricting it. Having moved shouts and recent opics on the top provisionally, sure will be there a better layout solution providing the needs for local and mobile devices. The refreshment of the shouts has been set on 180 sec and all seems to work well possible much faster and correct as before.

Sadhu, again!

Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu

Seems as if all worked well and it was surely not a small sacrifice, something possible to do quick inbetween, and that in a time less think much on far needs.

May Nyom @Moriz allways remember his deeds of goodness, giving what is hard to give.

(Just as feedback, nothing urgend at all! Atma has no editor display at the shout box, possible a permission issue, desktop-view attached.)

Layout seems to be fine so far. As for the new mobil view (there was no seperate before), it might just require some adjustments in the TP-block settings.

Upgrade to PHP 7.2 went without big problems. TinyPortal needed to be upgraded to version 1.6, which introduced major changes in how the layout CSS works.

It looks still mostly the same on large computer screens. But I think on mobile screens it is different now and might need some readjustment. The shout box and everything from the left panel is at the very bottom on mobile phone.
(Not sure if that is different from before, because I have not used it on mobile phone usually and can't remember how it was before.)

With regards to changing to a completely new software for the forum, from a first small look I think WoltLab Suite might be a really convenient system. I will try to take a closer look when I find time. But it might take a while.

For now, I hope everything is just working again more or less as usual.

Atma got a copy from Nyom Sophorn of the information of the provider who somehow urged to update software to certain php versions.

Quote from: from email by Upasaika Sophorn
Sehr geehrter Greensta Kunde,

- sangham.net: PHP 5.6
- mittata.sangham.net: PHP 7.0
- jataka.sangham.net: PHP 7.0
- bhikkhuni.sangham.net: PHP 7.0
- zugangzureinsicht.org: PHP 7.0
- accesstoinsight.eu: PHP 7.0

Allgemeine Hinweise:

In regard of that my person likes to mention that you should feel free how to progress.

It should be no problem, if proper and wished, to change generally to a more "professional" solution, also in regard of accessibility via mobil devices and wish possible allows professional online teaching. PC-software and normal access has no future and is aside of developers total unknown in Asia at large.

Things like moddle or woltlab come to mind, of course not knowing much, especially in regard of localization into Khmer.

It might be that Nyom Vithou might have access to even more professional ways and me does not fear the constructive creativity of Nyom Moritz will be to less .

My Person guesses that import from here might be not a very larg problem.

Please feel free of what ever you might wish to do as long having no binding effects for the user (formost members of the Sangha).
