Right then Bhante Khemananda , while picking up trash to fire the dye, became aware of a fruit. Atma telling him the other place of the "Rady-fruit" (kind of Samau, allowed medicine), Bhante collected them to make medicine tomorrow, taken some, Atma thinks total proper medicine for current disease.

Root medicine. The Canon defines life-long root medicine as follows: turmeric , ginger, sweet flag, white orris root, ativisa, black hellebore, khus-khus, nut-grass , or whatever other roots are medicines and do not serve as staple or non-staple food. With this, and all the remaining classes of life-long medicine, one may keep the medicine for life and consume it when there is a medicinal reason for doing so. If there is no such reason, there is a dukkaṭa for consuming it. As mentioned in the preceding chapter, there is a specific prohibition against eating garlic when not ill. In connection with the allowance for root medicine, there is also an allowance for a grindstone and a grinding wheel to reduce the medicine to a powder.

Vielleicht interessant für den einen oder anderen, diese Medizin aufzubreiten. Das meiste findet sich ja auch im heimatlichen Zentralland der Europärer im Wald, oder im Blumentopf im Wohnzimmer.
Die Apotheke der Welt, der Wald, wird gerade in Tablets zum nachlesen und Forschungsindustrie für Phamazeutic und zum bezahlen von Krankenversicherungen verbraucht.

Wer immer vielleicht übersetzen und heilpflanzlich lehren möchte und teilen mag. Irgendwo hatte Ātman noch die Khmer Heilpflanzen gespeichert... grübel. Da gab's glaubt Ātman, auch eine Neuauflage.

[Ein Heuschnupfen geplagter Mönch fragte, die Regenrückzugszeit (vassa) damit schwer geplagt seiend, nach einer Medizin: die Pflanze heißt Vassa (in vielen Ländern), nur am Rande.]

Die Dinge gibt's natürlich auch im Shop und im Handel, so wie das mit den Ärzten heute ist. Klöster hier in Kambodscha, sind immer Treffpunkte für Medizinherstellung, für Mönche. Laien treffen sich stets, und so mancher Samanera ist Spezialist in Naturheilmittel und versorgt mit den Priestern die Bhikkhus. Ātman spricht hier aber nicht vom Handel oder gar medizinische Versorgung von Laien durch Mönche. (Diese Industrie gibt es natürlich auch, speziell in den Bergen, wo ganze Viharas mit Säcken voller Medizinhölzern, für den nächsten Besucheranstürm das ganze Jahr lang gehackt werden, die ganze "parisa" damit beschäftigt.)
Zur Zeit werden diese Dinge aber von Familienpackungen 2 Literdosen... Painkiller und Power-Aspirin aus den Staaten und Australien spark verdrängt, als Gegengeschäft oder Symbiose, für Rohstoffgewinne und andere Dinge und natürlich wirklich als gut gemeinte Erleichterung für die alten, aller Gruppen, wie man es kennt.
