By proper attention[2] dhamma of release is born.

The monk in that photo is not Venerable Bhikkhu Nanananda.
He is highly regarded Venerable Nyanavimala Mahathero who was a teacher of Bhikkhu Nanananda.

One year ago my person had be informed, that Ven. Ñāṇananda health condition is not well by approaching his servants in try to contact him. Also again some weeks ago, without answer.

Although less informations have been given and are given also now, it seems to be tustworthy that Ven. Sir finally pased away.


Even greatest Dhamma-guṇā is not lasting. What ever Dhamma arises is subject to decay.

Yet

Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammā-sambuddhassa

Manasikāra sambhavā sabbe Dhammā.

By attention all things are born.
