Title: Ven Ñāṇananda Thera 1940-2018, passed away on Feb 22

One year ago my person had be informed, that Ven. Ñāṇananda (http://zugangzureinsicht.org/html/lib/authors/index_en.html#nanananda) health condition is not well by approaching his servants in try to contact him. Also again some weeks ago, without answer.

Although less informations have been given and are given also now, it seems to be tustworthy that Ven. Sir finally pased away.

Even greatest Dhamma-guṇā is not lasting. What ever Dhamma arises is subject to decay.

Yet

Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammā-sambuddhassa

Manasikāra sambhavā sabbe Dhammā.

By attention all things are born.

Dear all,
The monk in that photo is not Venerable Bhikkhu Nanananda.
He is highly regarded Venerable Nyanavimala (http://ven-nyanavimala.buddhasasana.net) Mahathero who was a teacher of Bhikkhu Nanananda.

Of course, Sadhu for the gift of correction and concern! Here matching two representatives of Dhamma, the greatness of learning and the goodness of putting into action.

By proper attention[2] dhamma of release is born.
