Indeed it's better to let go of Om Duk and turn toward developing real treasures instead.

Especially in times when foolish people infect many with fear, wishing to disturb and take over, it's not good to get drunken. Once drunken one is easy caught by Mara, Devadatta and one does not fear wrongdoing (even if normally a person of shame).

May many switch form wet water-festivals to celebrate things more firm.

It's not wrong and even good if exuberance is canceled even so beloved. Only when sick parts are health again proper earned common joy can be consumed and of course it even better when even in health times one turns toward Dhamma and leaves enjoyments of senses behind.

May many make the right choices the comming weekend and turn from worldly gains and sense pleasures toward renouncing and to what is right also on it's base.

Unity around right view, which starts by respecting mother, father, more Sublime, leader and has not fallen into rebelhood, is, as all know, the reason for peace and prosperty.

That is why what ever fest made, non excels the long traditional, like Ak Ambok, Sompeah Breah Kay, not to speak of Ānāpānasati, since nothing is more worthy then the Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha, meaning: N'atthi santi param sukham, no happiness equal then that of real peace, Nibbana.

Saccānulomikā-ñāṇa: The ninth stage of knowledge derived from conformity with truth. The ship represents the body (rūpa) and the owner of the ship, standing at the bow is mind (citta).(26)

The ship is crossing from the burning world of mortality to the other shore of Nibbāna, which is represented by the Three Gems to which the owner of the ship (mind) points. The crew and equipment aboard are the various teachings necessary to cross the seas of wandering-on in birth-and-death (samsāra). The Noble Eight-fold Path and other necessary Dhamma such as faith (saddhā), or wisdom (paññā(27)) are essential required to guide the ship across. Of these teachings, Right View (Sammādiṭṭhi(28)) is the most important.

The importance of right view and wisdom is shown by the bird perched atop the mast of the ship. Should the ship go astray, the bird is sent out to establish the correct course. This practice of using a sea-bird for navigational purposes dates back to the time three or four thousand years ago, when compasses and other navigational instruments were not available. Steering from the stern of the ship is the captain who represents Right Mindfulness (Sammāsati(29)) representiert.

The same symbolism is used for nāma-rūpa, or mentality-materiality in the Wheel of Wandering-on.

Right View (or understanding) is that which leads one inwards to Nibbāna after seeing which it should be translated as: Perfect View. Others views (philosophical, or theological) lead one upon other paths and are called Wrong Views, or those which lead astray from Nibbāna. Other factors of the Eightfold Path are “Right” or “Wrong” for the same pragmatic reason.

May all Buddhaparisadas and people dwelling in the land of Khema, celebrate independence in ways long taught by there Ancestors, in letting go of what is not really of substance, in letting go of all akusala that is related to taking unreal for real, in holding on kusala even requires a lot burden to bear and let go.

May conditions for walking the path last as long as possible under the pressure of modern times and may all find access while beloved in the world will find it's end.

May also the less support of relations, outstanding scarifies of people with ancient relation in Thailand and Malaysia but also on other places be seen by wise and touches those able to rejoice on most possible kusala loyalty against the modern flow of the world.

Blessed those who have gained, are in relation, with the last generation.

Nobody rest in complacency or thinking that departing will not arise to as having gained some victory outside or having overcome another outbreak of a disease not to overcome by means others than Eightfold Noble Path.

My person thinks, having come across seldom more upright public reports, that it is proper to inform in this way how "beating correct and peaceful people or groups" has terrible harmful effects for such actors in delusion and wrong view, not to speak on the effects of arrogant acting toward Noble Ones, Arahats or Buddhas, from ones high horse.

How ever pleasing those propaganda leading ladies of west and former relatives may cover their deluded disregarding, good deeds nevertheless stand and they simply act for their own harm and many bond to them.

It's a little a piece of story, unknown to the most arrogant and maxistic global worlds public and marxistic and post-modern propaganda, about the last Dhamma-King, observing the Uposatha, and a devoted follower of the Tripple Gems and protector of peace, the probably longest resisting head of state of the Khemakumaras land.

It's uniquw for those having Nissaya, to live in the probably most upright liberal country, with deep respect toward the Dhamma-Vinaya, the Sangha, hospitality, virtues pleasing to tge wise. While good conducts, traditions and rules, Sublime, is uprooted everywhere speedy, the blessed country holds even stronger to put the first things first.

It's a long traditional story of virtue, generosity, patient, endurance of unthinkable hardshipps and respect, western and modern people hardly would ever be able to imagine or even get really known, missing access by tendencies.

My person trust that it's given proper as means by which those with eyes could see the Dhamma within and correct their views, and of whom they are actually touched here in this room giving domain. It may include politics of course, but the heart of where things origin at it's base, might be seem and that's it's purpose.

Give up on Cambodia - It would be a mistake for the US and Europe to take harsh measures against Phnom Penh

Source: George Yeo was Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs during 2004–2011. The piece was previously published by Khmer Times.

One does not need to fear a little that ones giving does not bear it's related results and there is always the change to change ones mind to a more virtuous, generous, with more right view and vision of release from the Wheel  of worldly Dhamma.

Taking part a little on commons peoples fest with some encouragements and approve of kusala, making a sort visit into their areas, here also something worthy to praise:

It's tradition of old to follow the Dhamma to give release as cause of gaining release and so also this year a great amount of prisoners received the mercy of those in charge, leaders and Kings.

Let my person now, after this, lead all back to the higher path for those having found ground in right view: Sila, Samadhi, Panna and to pay homage to what comes first.
