Althought it is good it re-binding to the Tradition of the Noble Ones is seeked, and it's natural that doors are never closed, this Event was, as visible in everything not even good performed affection increasing fir gain and cheapest politic.
How ashamed every serious disciple reacts naturally seeing such is best visible by the hundreds of lai disciples faces and decaying of faith being witness of those behaviours.
It wouldn't be a wonder if they lost a lot of their bounds to their faithful and knowledgeable fellows. Not even less instructed lay people would be dear to act and behave like those monks and their guest. Not even normal people would act like this in public...
How it comes that Western "Buddhists", familar with the teachings, can give any appreciation is lesser a mystery but shows how actually useless simple knowing from texts is. It's impossible to even grasp things on a ritual, bodily and verbal level and impossible to penetrate to the heart.
The list of transgressions of conduct, only clear and visible by the public video ist long... and such is at first place no means for a better at all and it is not to assumed that the visitor himselves is not well informed in regard of Vinaya.
It might give probably more joy to watch the politics appearances of Koreans peace journey for a world in paradies paintings.
