  • Vitakkasanthana Sutta: The Relaxation of Thoughts (MN 20). The Buddha presents five ways of responding to unskillful thoughts that may arise during concentration practice.
  • Samadhanga Sutta: The Factors of Concentration (AN 5.28). The Buddha outlines the “five-factored noble right concentration,” to explain how the progressive development of the four mundane stages of jhana (absorption) leads to the development of the supranormal powers and Awakening.
  • [10 Mar 97] Access to Insight no longer blocked by CyberPatrol. Due to an error on the part of Microsystems, Inc., Access to Insight was incorrectly placed on CyberPatrol's “CyberNOT” list of blocked sites for several weeks. The error has now been corrected.
